Entourage is the award winning HBO series that follows the meteoric rise of Vincent Chase as he climbs the Hollywood ladder. His friends also benefit greatly from this, as all of his childhood friends get to tag along and live the Hollywood lifestyle with him. It is reported that several of the storylines are based on the experiences of Mark Wahlberg's rise to fame.
Entourage is filled out with a stellar list of characters. Vincent Chase is the main character and the actual star of the bunch. He rose to quick success, but he now has to quickly learn the ins and outs of Hollywood if he wants to climb even higher. Eric Murphy is one of his best friends and his manager. Vince credits Eric for pushing him to be an actor. Eric is always in Vince's cornor and generally tries to look out for his best interests. Johnny Chase is is half-brother/leech/chef/personal trainer who only had brief and low level success as a bit actor. As much as he lives off of his brother's success, Johnny seems to actually care about his brother, and he often works to help him. Turtle is another one of Vince's friends. He is Vince's driver and somewhat of a leech, but he too tries to protect Vince from the many people who wish to exploit him. Ari GOld is Vince's agent. He is a workaholic who is a bit too quick to anger. He often gets into arguments with Vince for his aggressive stlye.
Entourage allows viewers to see all the ups and downs of a Hollywood lifestyle from the comfort of their homes. The show has a large following which continues to grow with the show's success. It continues to please fans as it prepares to finish it's third season.
